Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. They are used to keep you signed in, remember preferences and protect your account. This policy explains the cookies VooVr sets, why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. Cookies We Use
VooVr sets only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we never sell data derived from cookies.

This cookie is created with the safety attributes HttpOnly (inaccessible to browser scripts) and SameSite=Lax (not sent on cross-site requests). When VooVr is served over HTTPS in production, it is also marked Secure. Because the cookie is signed by the server, it cannot be read or tampered with by third parties.
3. Why We Use Each Cookie
- Authenticating you – the session cookie confirms you are signed in so you can access the dashboard, employee records and other protected pages.
- Keeping you signed in – when you choose to stay signed in, the cookie persists your session for up to 30 days so you don't have to re-authenticate on every visit.
- Protecting you – a CSRF token is stored inside the session cookie and required on all state-changing requests, preventing third-party sites from making requests on your behalf.
4. Advertising & Analytics Cookies
VooVr does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies or any third-party tracking cookies. The pages load third-party libraries (such as GSAP, Google Fonts, Spline and Lenis) from their CDNs; these make network requests to their own servers but are not used for tracking you, and no VooVr cookie is involved. Where your browser sends cookies to those CDNs, their use is governed by the respective provider's policy.
5. Similar Technologies: Local Storage
VooVr also uses your browser's local and session storage for lightweight preferences that never leave your device: your chosen theme (dark/light), your analysis language, the confirmation that you've dismissed the cookie notice, and a pending email address mid-signup. These are not cookies and are not sent to the server.
6. How to Control or Disable Cookies
You can block or delete the session cookie through your browser settings at any time. Please note that the session cookie is strictly necessary: without it you won't be able to sign in or use the application. Signing out from the application clears your server-side session as well.
- If you sign in on a shared or public computer, always sign out when you're done.
- Most browsers let you view, block or clear cookies under their privacy or history settings — see your browser's help pages for the exact steps.
- Preferences stored in local/session storage can be cleared with your browser's "clear site data" option.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when it was most recently revised. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the application or by email.
